We love to travel, meet interesting people and explore local cultures. Other interests include reading, dancing, listening to music, walking, cycling and exploring the world!
We have experienced many countries and cultures during our travel over the past 25 years and really enjoy getting off the tourist track and exploring the “real” local culture.
We pride ourselves on providing an excellent service so that you can enjoy your holiday having peace of mind that everything at home is being taken care of.

What about Pets and Pet sitting?
We both love pets and have owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, a horse, chickens and a tortoise! (see ‘About Us‘ for more information). Be assured that your beloved pet/s will be well loved and looked after in your absence.
What is the Cost?
We do not charge for house or pet sitting because we feel it’s a win win for both parties: we get to stay in a nice home and soak in the culture and you have a very responsible couple taking care of your home and pets.
If you require services beyond the usual housekeeping, garden maintenance OR your beloved pet needs extra care, then a small per-day fee will be considered (this can be discussed).
Our Ideal House sitting assignment.
We like comfortable, clean homes in safe and quiet areas, as long as we can get to nearby amenities (by vehicle or public transport). This may be in a city, large rural town or village. We love cycling so provision of bicycles would be an added bonus!
We’ll treat your home like we do our own.
We are both conscientious of your home and belongings, we like to keep everything clean and tidy and Glenn loves to garden. When on assignment we do any shopping and exploring during the daytime, ensuring that your home is never left unattended overnight.
What do we need?
A comfortable bedroom for sleeping with preferably a queen-sized bed
Internet/Wifi access, we travel with our own laptops
Things that you would supply a welcome guest, such as kitchen and laundry access, use of living room etc.
What We Do For You
- Take care of your pet: food, water, meds, walks… love and attention
- Gather mail/newspapers/deliveries
- Water house plants and garden as needed
- Keep the home secure and sleep there every night
- Provide regular updates and photos
- Put out garbage/recycling or take to local bins
- Keep your grounds, garden and pool looking great
- Deal with any sudden emergency: pet to the vet, plumber, tripped fuses etc.
- Keep the house tidy and of course clean up after ourselves
Most importantly, we keep our word
Once we have committed and agreed to take on an assignment with you we will be there as arranged. All we ask from our clients is that they afford us the same commitment.
